State Privacy Statement effective as of: September 19, 2025


This Privacy Statement supplements AMC’s general privacy policies and applies to consumers under U.S. Privacy Laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act ("CCPA") and all laws and regulations implementing, supplementing, or amended applicable state law (“US Privacy Laws”). It supplements This covers our websites, online services, property visits and offline interactions ("services").


Information we collect

We collect information that can identify or be linked to you or your household ("Personal Information"), excluding publicly available or deidentified information.


The following chart shows what personal information AMC has collected in the last 12 months, where it came from, why we collected it, and who we shared it with.

Use of personal information


We may use or disclose the Personal Information we collect for one or more of the following purposes:


  • To provide our services;
  • To engage with prospective tenants;
  • To process applications, contracts, and related communications;
  • To respond to your inquiries;
  • To market our products and services;
  • To prevent fraud and ensure legal compliance;
  • To protecting and enforce our legal rights.
  • To maintain service security and business integrity;
  • To conduct research and improve our services;
  • To comply with legal requirements and law enforcement requests;
  • As described during Personal Information collection or as required by law.
  • To facilitate corporate transactions involving the transfer of personal information;


We will notify you before collecting new categories of Personal Information or using collected Personal Information for materially different purposes.


Personal information disclosure

We share personal information with affiliates and service providers as needed. See our Global Privacy Statement for details.


In the past 12 months, we disclosed Personal Identifiers, Device Information, and Internet/Network Activity to businesses, service providers, and third parties (including advertising networks, analytics, and social media networks) for commercial purposes.


Personal information retention

We keep your personal information as long as needed for the purposes described here, or as required by law.


The criteria used to determine our retention periods include:

Duration of our service relationship;

Legal obligations requiring record retention;

and Whether retention is necessary for legal purposes (e.g., statutes of limitations, litigation, or regulatory investigations).


Your choices and rights


Right to limit sensitive the processing of your personal information

We only process Sensitive Personal Information for purposes permitted under U.S. Privacy Laws.


Right to opt out


You may opt out of cookies and tracking technologies that constitute "sale" or "sharing" of your Personal Information by submitting a request using the contact information below.


Residents of certain states may opt out using the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal on supported browsers and extensions. GPC must be enabled separately for each browser.


Information shared includes Basic Identifying Information, Device Information, and Internet/Network Activity.


Third parties receiving this information include advertisers, marketing partners, data analytics providers, and social media networks.



Right to know, access and correct

Under applicable U.S. Privacy Laws, residents may request access to their Personal Information either once (CT, UT, OR, MT) or twice (CA, VA, CO, TX) per 12-month period. These requests include access to collected information and AMC's processing purposesmay . Residents also correct inaccurate Personal Information. Upon identity verification, we will disclose:

  • Categories and sources of Personal Information collected.
  • Purpose for collecting or selling Personal Information.
  • Third parties receiving your Personal Information.
  • Your Personal Information we collected.




Right to delete

You can request deletion of Personal Information, though some exceptions may apply. After verifying your identity, we'll delete your information unless legally required to retain it.



How to exercise your rights


To exercise your rights described above, please submit a request by either:

Residents, team members, investors, and job applicants (current, former, or prospective) may submit requests using the contact information below.

To opt out of information selling or sharing, submit your request using the contact information below.

Verifiable consumer requests may be submitted by you, your authorized agent, or by you on behalf of your minor child.


Your request must:

  • Include verification that you are the data subject or their authorized representative; and
  • Be detailed enough for us to understand and respond appropriately.


We must verify your identity before responding to your request. No account creation is required. Personal Information provided will only be used for verification purposes.



Right to appeal

Residents of certain states may have appeal rights. To appeal, contact us using the methods listed above or in the decision notice.



Authorized agents


To use an authorized agent, submit the following to the email address in the Contact Information section for verification:


  • A copy of a power of attorney provided by the consumer pursuant to applicable law; or
  • A signed permission form, the agent’s ID, and direct email confirmation from you authorizing the agent.



Response timing and format


We will acknowledge your request within 10 days and respond within 45 days. If we need more time (up to 45 more days), we'll let you know in writing.


Disclosures will cover the previous 12 months. We will explain if we cannot comply with a request. For data portability requests, we will provide your Personal Information in a readily useable format that enables easy transfer between entities.


We process verifiable consumer requests free of charge unless they are excessive, repetitive, or manifestly unfounded. If a fee applies, we will provide justification and a cost estimate before proceeding.



California “Shine The Light” Law


Under California’s “Shine the Light” law (Civil Code Section 1798.83), California residents may request an annual list of third parties to whom AMC disclosed their Personal Information for direct marketing purposes. To make this request, email privacy@liveamc.com with "California Privacy Request" in the subject line, confirming your residency California resident and providing your current California address.


Statement Updates


We may amend this Statement at any time by posting the updated version on our website with a new effective date. Your continued use of our services after such posting constitutes acceptance of the changes.
