Most firms near the top of multifamily management got there through acquisitions, mergers, or platform expansion. We didn't.
Over 25 years, AMC has grown organically from a single 588-unit property in West Jordan, Utah into the No. 5 apartment manager in the country on NMHC's 2026 Top Managers list. Today we manage more than 158,000 units across 900+ communities in 25+ states.
That growth came from long-term client relationships, repeat assignments, and owners trusting AMC with more to manage, not from consolidation.
Nearly all of our original clients are still with us.
AMC is a third-party manager only. We don't develop, we don't invest alongside our clients, and we don't compete with owners for ownership upside. Our job is to execute the owner's business plan, protect long-term value, and make every basis point count.
